Saturday was my birthday. My birthday was simple, but enjoyable. Bryan (I've been on several dates with him now) took me out to dinner and a movie Wednesday night seeing as he had to leave Thursday morning for two weeks. We went to Applebee's and then went to see Water for Elephants. I was pretty disappointed in the movie. I love Reese Witherspoon, but that movie was not that great. Friday night I went out to eat with my mom, Brian, and Melanie. We went to Red Robin. Saturday morning I woke up and went to breakfast with my mom and Brian, then back to Mel's house. We babysat Kaylee, Ashley and Cody's 17 month old daughter, for most of the day. Afterwards we went to JR's for Mel's mom's best friend Rose's bachelorette party. At about 8:45 me and Mel rushed out and to the grocery store to get some alcohol. Since alcohol can't be sold after 9:00, we were rushing to say the least. It was sort of exciting, actually. We picked up some vodka and whiskey and lemonade and went back to her house.
We spent the night sitting on the porch with her parents, Rose, and Kyra. We chatted and just enjoyed the night. It was fun - we joked, laughed, and talked, looked back at memories and old times. At about midnight, I crashed on the bed in the basement. I woke up and met my dad for breakfast. That night (Sunday) I went to the Michael Buble concert with my grandpa in Milwaukee! It was interesting, that's for sure. He is pretty embarrassing but I love him anyways. Here are a few pictures of my weekend (and the past few weeks):
