Welcome back, Leslie

Well, hello old friend! It's been a while. So much has been going on in happening in my life I haven't really had a chance to sit down and blog. And, okay, I'll be honest, I haven't really tried to. Maybe I should've made time though. Thursday I started my big girl job! Training, anyway. I think I'm really going to love it! I'm still living with the 'rents. I've looked at a few condos and apartments, but I'm hesitant about moving out. I think instead I'm going to open another savings account and call that my "moving out fund" and what I'll do is every month I'll put what rent would be in there. Well, not that much. I think I'll put 400 in there a month starting August first. I'm also going to save every five dollar bill that I get. I learned that from a customer who has been doing that for a while. Life is going swell, though.

Tough choices and difficult decisions

Sometimes, I get angry at God. Like - why can't He just tell me what to do? Granted, I know, I don't read the Word, I don't pray like I should, and, frankly, I don't always live like I'm living for Him. So, of course I wouldn't be able to easily figure this out. But, sometimes, when I do try and I work so hard at hearing Him... I still can't. And now I have to answer the question, "To continue college or not to continue college?"

Happy (late) birthday to me

Saturday was my birthday. My birthday was simple, but enjoyable. Bryan (I've been on several dates with him now) took me out to dinner and a movie Wednesday night seeing as he had to leave Thursday morning for two weeks. We went to Applebee's and then went to see Water for Elephants. I was pretty disappointed in the movie. I love Reese Witherspoon, but that movie was not that great. Friday night I went out to eat with my mom, Brian, and Melanie. We went to Red Robin. Saturday morning I woke up and went to breakfast with my mom and Brian, then back to Mel's house. We babysat Kaylee, Ashley and Cody's 17 month old daughter, for most of the day. Afterwards we went to JR's for Mel's mom's best friend Rose's bachelorette party. At about 8:45 me and Mel rushed out and to the grocery store to get some alcohol. Since alcohol can't be sold after 9:00, we were rushing to say the least. It was sort of exciting, actually. We picked up some vodka and whiskey and lemonade and went back to her house.
